A white woman called the police on a black man, Corey Lewis, while he babysat two white children in Cobb County, Georgia (raw video below).
Lewis, who filmed the incident on Facebook Live, told WGCL that the woman first stopped him in the parking lot of a Walmart and asked if the children were okay.
Lewis said the woman wanted to speak to the children, but he said “no,” so the woman called the police and followed him:
We then left to go get gas, she moved closer and waited there.
Lewis said the woman followed him home, which is where a Cobb County police officer showed up, questioned the kids and called their parents, David Parker and Dana Mango.
Mango told WGCL how she was stunned by the obvious racism:
I said are you saying that because there’s an African American male driving my two white kids, that he was stopped and pulled over and questioned and he said I’m sorry ma’am that’s exactly what I’m saying.
Parker added his thoughts:
B-W-B which I guess is the new thing, babysitting while black.
Parker and Mango don’t believe that the woman was trying to protect their children because the kids never showed any signs of being in danger.
