Virginia Police Threaten To Fine People For Not Placing ‘Town Decal’ On Cars

Haymarket, Virginia Police Chief Kevin Land warned citizens on a Facebook video (page has been taken down) they would be ticketed and fined $35 if they did not buy $15 “town decal” and place it on their cars.

Land did not explain why the town decal had to be affixed to vehicles other than the police are going to enforce the new ordinance, notes the Free Thought Project.

Land warned citizens that if they did not get their sticker situation corrected after being cited “within two weeks, we will take other corrective actions against you.”
