U.S. Taxpayers Paid Trump Hotel For Donald Trump Jr.’s Sheep Hunting Trip

Donald Trump Jr. reportedly flew to Canada’s Yukon mountains to hunt stone sheep with friends in August 2017.

Trump Jr. was accompanied by Secret Service agents who stayed at the Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver, on the taxpayer dime, according to documents obtained by POLITICO.

The Secret Service is required to protect the president’s family, who often force the federal government to spend taxpayer money at Trump properties, a likely violation of the Emoluments Clause, noted the American Prospect in May.
