Trump’s Billionaire Friend Jeffrey Epstein Is Charged With Sex Trafficking Minors
Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who is a friend of President Donald Trump, has been charged by the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan with sex trafficking and sex trafficking conspiracy that allegedly happened between 2002 and 2005.
Federal prosecutors allege that Epstein abused dozens of female minors at his Manhattan and Florida homes, notes the Washington Post.
The federal indictment alleges that the 66-year-old financier paid girls as young as 14 for massages that became sex acts, and paid the girls more to find new victims, reports the Daily Beast.
The FBI reportedly found nude photos of girls in a weekend raid of Epstein’s Manhattan mansion after he was arrested at New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport following a flight in from France.
Epstein previously pleaded guilty to charges of soliciting prostitution in Florida when he was accused of molesting dozens of girls. That plea deal included just more than a year in jail; Epstein was allowed to leave daily for work.
Manhattan prosecutors said they are not bound by the non-prosecution agreement that ties the hands of prosecutors in Florida.
