Trump Tells Israel To Ban 2 American Muslims, Trump’s Press Secretary Claims He Never Did It
President Donald Trump took to Twitter to call on Israel to ban two American Muslim lawmakers, Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).
It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 15, 2019
However, Trump’s own press secretary Stephanie Grisham denied Trump said this, tweeted CNN’s Daniel Dale.

Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer, said in July that Omar and Tlaib would be allowed to visit, even though they support the the pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, reports HuffPost.
However, Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely told Israel’s Reshet Radio: “The decision has been made [and] the decision is not to allow them to enter,” notes Reuters.
