Trump Denies Knowledge Of WikiLeaks After Praising WikiLeaks Many Times

President Donald Trump claimed he doesn’t know anything about WikiLeaks following the news of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange being arrested in London (video below):

I know nothing about Wikileaks. It’s not my thing. I know nothing really about [Assange]. It’s not my deal in life… I don’t really have any opinion. I know the Attorney General will be involved in that and he’ll make a decision.

However, Trump repeatedly praised WikiLeaks numerous times in the 2016 election because it was releasing stolen emails from the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Trump famously said he “loves” WikiLeaks in October 10, 2016 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
