President Donald Trump defended his retweet of a conspiracy theory linking former President Bill Clinton to thesuicide of sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, which was originally tweeted by Terrence K. Williams, notes NBC News:
He is a very highly respected conservative pundit. He’s a big Trump fan. And that was a retweet. That wasn’t from me. That was from him. But he’s a man with half a million followers, a lot of followers.
Williams falsely claimed that Epstein was on suicide watch at the time of his suicide and claimed — without proof — that Epstein had information on Clinton:
Died of SUICIDE on 24/7 SUICIDE WATCH ? Yeah right! How does that happen#JefferyEpstein had information on Bill Clinton & now he’s dead— Terrence K. Williams (@w_terrence) August 10, 2019
I see #TrumpBodyCount trending but we know who did this!
