Trump Attacks His Own FBI Director, US Attorney General
President Donald Trump launched an unfounded attack against FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney Jeff Sessions.
Trump attacked the “top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department” on Twitter in coordination with the GOP House release of an anti-FBI conspiracy memo written by Republican Rep. Devin Nunes of California:
The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans – something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!

Ironically, Trump praised Wray in a tweet in June 2017:
I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI. Details to follow.
