President Donald Trump admitted to journalists in Singapore that he will find an excuse if North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un does not follow through on his promises.
Trump was asked by a reporter what will happen if Kim “doesn’t follow through” on the denuclearization process.
Trump explained how he will avoid responsibility:
Honestly, I think he’s going to do these things. I may be wrong. I may stand before you in six months and say, “hey, I was wrong.” I don’t know that I’ll admit that but I’ll find some kind of an excuse.
