Parkland Student David Hogg On Laura Ingraham: ‘She’s Only Apologizing After A Third Of Her Advertisers Pulled Out’

Parkland student David Hogg said he is not going to accept an apology from Fox News Laura Ingraham who mocked Hogg for not being accepted into colleges.

Hogg, who has a 4.2 GPA, subsequently called for a boycott on Twitter by Ingraham’s advertisers, some of which have dropped her show. Ingraham then issued an apology because of “Holy Week” to Hogg.

However, Hogg wasn’t having it during an an interview with CNN host Alison Camerota:

She’s only apologizing after a third of her advertisers pulled out. I think it’s wrong. And I think if she really wants to do something she could cover inner-city violence and the real issues that we have in America. I know she is a talk show host, but as such she also has a responsibility to show both sides of the story.

Hogg also slammed adults who have pushed conspiracy theories about him and his fellow Parkland students:

It shows that what we’re doing is working. We have them scared, and it means we have to go even harder.

Camerota mocked the colleges that did not accept Hogg:

David, I am stunned that four colleges rejected you. What kind of dumbass colleges don’t want you? You have taken the country by storm. How do you explain this, did they reject you before the Parkland massacre?

Hogg said they rejected him after the Parkland school shooting:

They rejected me about — let me think, about two weeks ago, most of them. It goes to show, regardless of whether you get into college, you can still change the world. The hardest part is believing you can, but you eventually will.
