Mississippi ICE Raids Separate Parents And Children

ICE agents took approximately 680 workers at seven Mississippi food processing plants into custody for alleged immigration violations, separating children from parents in the process.

ICE agents then put the immigrants onto buses and brought them to a Mississippi National Guard processing center.

Eleven-year-old Magdalena Gomez Gregorio begged for her father’s release on CBS News:

Government please show some heart, let my parent be free with everybody else please… My dad didn’t do nothing. He’s not a criminal.

Gregorio and other children, of those arrested, stayed at a community center gymnasium overnight.
