Meghan McCain Snaps After Audience Sides With Pamela Anderson on ‘The View’

“The View” co-host Meaghan McCain snapped at the audience after they sided with guest Pamela Anderson, who was defending WikiLeaks and its founder Julian Assange.

McCain grilled Anderson over her relationship with Assange, who was charged with violating the U.S. Espionage Act:

He was allegedly kicked out of the Ecuadorian embassy because he was defecating everywhere and creating messes.

Anderson denied the claim, and McCain turned to her notes to accuse Assange of endangering American spies:

He hacked information, his leaks included classified documents that put our national security at risk, our military and the lives of spies and diplomats at risk.

Anderson fired back:

You know who put our national security at risk, is the military. How many people (has) the American government killed, innocently, and how many has WikiLeaks killed?

Some audience members applauded, and McCain snapped: “Oh, calm down, sir.”
