Las Vegas School Board Meeting Falls Apart After Board Member Calls Black Students ‘Colored’

A Clark County school board meeting in Las Vegas on race relations fell apart on after trustee Danielle Ford referred to black students as “colored students,” reports KLAS:

There’s two different problems we’re experiencing right now. One is our lack of safety protocols — the other one is the lack of safety of colored students.

Ford repeatedly apologized, but citizens repeatedly scolded her, effectively bringing the meeting on race relations to a rocky end.
