Hundreds Protest Against Vaccination Bill In Washington State During Measles Epidemic

About 700 anti-vaccine activists packed an Olympia, Washington public hearing on Feb. 8 to oppose a bill that would make it harder to opt out of vaccinations for measles, mumps and rubella (more video below).

Washington State is suffering the worst measles outbreak in more than two decades, notes NBC News.

Anti-vaccine activists, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., claim health officials are covering up vaccine dangers, (but failed to provide proof), reports the Associated Press.

One activist falsely claimed the majority of people diagnosed with measles have been vaccinated.
