Cambridge Analytica CEO Alexander Nix Called Black Clients N-Word In Leaked Email: Report
Alexander Nix, the CEO of Cambridge Analytica, a UK data firm used by the Trump campaign in 2016, reportedly called two potential black clients “n*ggers” in an internal email that was leaked.
The Times reports that Nix was suspended by Cambridge Analytica on March 20 over “recent comments secretly recorded by Channel 4 and other allegations [which] do not represent the values or operations of the firm.”
Channel 4 News, a UK network, secretly filmed Nix bragging about using bribes and prostitutes to entrap politicians on behalf of his clients, who have included President Donald Trump and Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas.
Cambridge Analytica is partly owned by right wing billionaire Robert Mercer, who supported Trump and Cruz in 2016.
Nix denied his own words — captured on film — by claiming that he was humoring the undercover Channel 4 News reporter.
The Times reports that Cambridge Analytica entrapped Lindsay Grant of St Kitts and Nevis with the offer of a $1 million bribe to help defeat Grant on behalf of the St Kitts and Nevis’ Labor Party.
Cambridge Analytica is also accused of illegally gathering confidential information on 50 million Facebook users on behalf of the Trump campaign in 2016.
