An unidentified woman complained about having to sit next to mother and her baby, and threatened the job of a Delta flight attendant before being removed from the plane on Feb. 6.
Marissa Rundell told the Daily Mail that she was flying with her eight-month-old baby Mason on a flight from New York City to Syracuse, New York, when the woman got on the plane:
She was the last one to get on the plane and I was in the second to last row of the plane.
She came to the back and slammed her bags down. She said “this is f****** ridiculous. It’s bulls**t having to sit in the back of the plane.”
Rundell said she asked the woman not to curse around her toddler, but the woman “ignored” her and continued to complain:
I said again please watch your language she told me to shut the f*** up and shove it. That’s when the flight attendant came over and asked what the problem was.
She brought up having to sit next to a crying baby (he wasn’t crying or fussing at all).
A cellphone video by Rundell showed a flight attendant trying to mediate the situation.
The woman demanded a new seat, but the flight attendant asked her to sit down.
The woman continued complaining, and the flight attendant offered a her seat on the next flight.
The woman told the flight attendant:
Thank you Tabitha, you may not have a job, tomorrow.
The flight attendant then told the woman to get off the plane, and the woman tried to talk the flight attendant into letting her stay.
The flight attendant contacted a gate agent to remove the woman from the plane, notes the Daily Mail.
Rundell explained what happened next:
Ten minutes later she came back and got her things and was again swearing up a storm saying they will all regret kicking her off the plane.
I thought it was funny how she was acting like a child throwing a tantrum. Also I see videos all the time about people bashing airlines for kicking people off so this is like the opposite. The flight attendants were absolutely amazing.
Rundell wrote on her Facebook page:
This lady thought she was going to be rude to me and Mason now she has no way home today. Thank you to the lovely Delta flight attendant for not letting this women bully us. Karma is a b****.
