Trump To Nominate Anti-Feminist To Be Ambassador-At-Large For Global Women’s Issues
President Donald Trump is expected to nominate Penny Nance to be the Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues.
Nance is currently head of the right wing Concerned Women for America, which is anti-abortion and anti-LGBT, notes the Southern Poverty Law Center.
In 2013, Nance claimed in The Washington Times that the “Violence Against Women Act” was actually part of a “war on women” because it stopped criminal charges against minors who are forced into prostitution via sex trafficking.
Nance claimed in 2013 in POLITICO that “there is no war on women” when women have their health care access blocked.
Nance accused the Disney film “Frozen” in 2015 for portraying cartoon males as villains and fools, reported The Washington Post.
Nance told Fox News how important cartoon role models should be: “We want to raise heroes. We want to raise real men who will stick in their families and be great dads and great providers and great husbands.”
