Trump Rally Boos Sen. John McCain For Trying To Save Their Health Care

A crowd of Trump voters booed Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona during a Trump rally in Huntsville, Alabama.

McCain announced earlier in the day that he would not vote for the Graham-Cassidy bill, which end Obamacare subsidies that people use to buy insurance, would end Medicaid expansion by 2027, phase out Medicaid and bring back preexisting conditions on a state-by-state basis.

President Donald Trump said he was given a list of ten senators who were “no” votes, and added: “John McCain was not on the list, so that was a totally unexpected thing. Terrible.”

McCain cast the deciding vote months ago to stop a “skinny repeal” of Obamacare.
