President Donald Trump says that he loves conflict in the White House, which seems to be in perpetual chaos with resignation and indictments.
Most recently, senior advisor Kellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act and economic advisor Gary Cohn quit over Trump’s sudden tariff on steel, noted CNBC.
During a press conference with Sweden Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, Trump was asked if he expected more change in the White House.
Trump dodged the question, but defended the White House turmoil:
The White House has tremendous energy, it has tremendous spirit, it is a great place to be working. Many, many people want every single job. [People say], “Oh gee, maybe people don’t want to work for Trump.”
Believe me, everybody wants to work in the White House. They all want a piece of that Oval Office. They want a piece of the West Wing…
I like conflict. I like having two people with different points of view. And I certainly have that and then I make a decision. But I like watching it, I like seeing it.
Trump’s claim that “everybody wants to work in the White House” was ridiculed on Twitter:
“The WH has tremendous energy…so many people want to come in…everybody wants to be there, and they love this White House,” @POTUS says, disputing known challenges administration has in recruiting new personnel for West Wing as exodus publicly chronicled.

“Believe me everybody wants to work in the White House.” That hit a nerve for him!
Ha ha, we all know any sentence preceded by “believe me” is a big fat lie
