Trump Lashes Out At San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor And Victims During Humanitarian Crisis

President Donald Trump went on a bizarre angry Twitter rant against San Yuan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz in the middle of a humanitarian crisis that has crippled U.S. territory island.

Cruz went on television on Sep.29 to tell the world that “people are dying” in Puerto Rico at the same time that Trump was patting himself on the back for his “successful” response to the disaster caused by Hurricane Maria.

Cruz also stated: “We are not as second-class citizens, but as animals that can be disposed of.”

Trump attacked Cruz on Twitter on Sept. 30 in a series of tweets that called her “nasty” and claimed that the people of Puerto Rico “want everything to be done for them,” notes RawStory.com:

In response to Trump’s angry tweets, Cruz took the high road during an interview with MSNBC host Joy Reid (video below):

That’s what it’s all about. All about saving lives, not about politics, not about petty comments. It’s about moving forward, putting boots on the ground and saving lives.
