Two police officers were filmed punching a man whom they had pinned on a street in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 31.
The Fort Worth Police Department said the fire department called for help after the man allegedly became violent during an ambulance call, notes The Dallas Morning News.
Police claimed the intoxicated man ran three blocks away from the scene:
What the video does not depict is that it took three officers and one supervisor to effectively place the resisting subject into handcuffs, a struggle that lasted 4.5 minutes.
Oddly, the police could not provide the man’s name, the officers’ names or the possible criminal charges.
