Sen. Susan Collins Refuses To Repeal Obamacare, CBO Warns Millions Would Lose Insurance Under Repeal

Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine announced that she will vote against the Graham-Cassidy bill, which would repeal Obamacare and strip away health care from millions of Americans.

Collins released a statement, notes NPR: “Sweeping reforms to our health care system and to Medicaid can’t be done well in a compressed time frame, especially when the actual bill is a moving target.”

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report that says “millions” of Americans would lose their insurance if Graham-Cassidy were made into law.

The CBO could not say exactly how many millions of Americans would lose their insurance coverage because the Republicans are not giving the CBO enough time to do a full score.
