Roy Moore Tells Sean Hannity: ‘I Dated A Lot Of Young Ladies’
GOP Senate Republican candidate Roy Moore told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he never met Leigh Corfman, a woman who told The Washington Post that Moore touched her on the bra and panties when she was 14 years old in the late 1970s when he was in his 30s.
During an interview on Hannity’s radio show, Moore also stated:
With regard to the other girls, you understand this is 40 years ago after my return from the military, I dated a lot of young ladies.
Moore said he recognized the names of Debbie Wesson Gibson and Gloria Thacker Deason who both told The Washington Post that Moore pursued a sexual relationship with them when they were between the ages of 16 and 18.
Moore said he never dated girls even in their “late teens,” and added: “I don’t remember that and I don’t remember ever dating any girl without the permission of her mother.”
Moore also said he never engaged in any sexual relationships with the girls:
Obviously, we never had any sexual activity, there was never anything like that, and the behavior was altogether appropriate.
