Michael Cohen’s Lawyers Flee, He’s Likely To Flip Soon: Report
Longtime Trump attorney Michael Cohen is reportedly close to making a deal with prosecutors as the lawyers representing him are dropping his case, notes ABC News:
Cohen, now with no legal representation, is likely to cooperate with federal prosecutors in New York. This development, which is believed to be imminent, will likely hit the White House, family members, staffers and counsels hard.
Cohen and his lawyers were given a deadline, June 15, to review more than 3.7 million documents that were seized in an FBI raid.
ABC News notes that once the review is finished, Cohen will not have lawyers.
Vanity Fair reported on June 12 that Cohen has told friends that he expects to be arrested in days, but Cohen publicly denied that was true.
