Miami Holds Gun Show, Free Admission For Kids Under 12, Days After Parkland Shooting

Only three days after a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, left 17 dead, the Florida Gun Show is holding a gun convention at the Fair Expo Center in Miami this weekend.

The 600-booth gun convention — 46.9 miles from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School —  is allowing children under 12 years old in for free.

Organizers of the gun show told the Miami New Times: ‘Yes, the show is still scheduled for this weekend.”

Nineteen-year-old confessed Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz was able to legally purchase an AR-15 assault-style rifle because the age limit in Florida to buy such weapons is 18 years old.

A promotional video for the gun show on Facebook chirps: “Enjoy an enormous array of firearms, ammunition, shooting supplies, knives, and so much more!”
