Lowe’s Customer Gives Last Generator To Fellow Shopper For Hurricane Irma

Ramon Santiago, a customer at a Lowe’s store in Orlando, Florida, was about to buy the store’s last portable generator when he gave it to a female customer, Pam Brekke, on Sept. 7.

The store received a surprise shipment of 216 generators at about 7 a.m., which sold out in two hours, notes WFTV.

Brekke told the news station: “My father’s on oxygen, and I’m worried about this storm.”

Suddenly, Santiago approached Brekke and gave her the generator without knowing why she was crying.

“She need the generator,” Santiago said. “It’s OK. No worry for them.”

The two embraced and Santiago continued his shopping.

“I’m very overwhelmed by that man,” Brekke added. “That gentleman was a great gentleman right there. God will bless that man.”
