“Fox and Friends” co-host Steve Doocy announced how it was “heartbreaking” that Obamacare was not repealed, which would have cost 32 million Americans their insurance coverage, noted CNN.
The conservative show was reporting on how President Donald Trump recently agreed with Democrats to raise the debt ceiling and avoid a government shutdown. The hosts were stumped as to why the Democrats wouldn’t work with Trump to repeal Obamacare.
Doocy lamented how Obamacare was not repealed:
Well, it’s just so heartbreaking, the president, for so long said if I’m elected I’m going to get repeal and replace Obamacare which the Republicans have said for the last seven years. Then he’s elected. They have the chance. They can’t do it because they did not have a plan.
