A 22-minute documentary “Charlottesville: Race and Terror” that aired on HBO’s “Vice News Tonight” followed Christopher Cantwell, a white supremacist, and his group of neo-Nazis who marched last weekend in the Virginia town.
Cantwell, an “alt-right” radio host who came to Charlottesville to speak at the “United the Right” rally, told Vice News: “We’re not non-violent, we’ll fucking kill these people if we have to.”
Hours later, after Heather Heyer was killed by a white supremacist who drove his car into a crowd of people, Cantwell said: “I’d say it was worth it. The fact that nobody on our side died, I’d go ahead and call that points for us.”
“I think a lot more people are going to die here,” Cantwell added.
Cantwell called the incident that killed Heyer “more than justified.”
Former KKK leader David Duke also appeared in the video, and complained about the “destruction of the American way of life.”
