A video has surfaced of an angry woman yelling at a U.S. military veteran (with PTSD) inside a restaurant for bringing his service dog.
PopularMilitary.com notes that a waitress explains that the veteran is allowed to bring his dog because “he fought for our country,” but the woman claims her husband was a serviceman who died.
The woman shouts: “It’s still nasty to me! I don’t care! There should be a separate section for a f*cking animal!”
When bystanders try to intervene, the woman calls them “whores” and “bitches.” Finally, a man gets in the woman’s face and tells to her leave.
“Like I said, it’s disgusting to have an animal inside of a public restaurant!” the woman screeches while walking out.
PopularMilitary.com notes: “Under law by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability,” and “locations such as restaurants are generally designated as areas protected under the ADA guidelines, particularly in regard to Service Animals, which are not to be confused with Emotional Support Animals.”
