After Being Fired By Fox News, Eric Bolling To Run For U.S. Senate?

After vowing to clear his name and return to work, Eric Bolling has parted ways with Fox News. The conservative cable channel has been conducting a probe into allegations that Bolling sexually harassed women since early August.

Fox News released a statement, notes Variety:

Fox News Channel is canceling “The Specialists”’ and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably. We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.

Bolling, a former commodities trader, recently wrote a bestselling book called “The Swamp” about getting rid of undesirables in Washington D.C.  He co-hosted of “The Five,” “The Fox News Specialists” and “Cashin’ In”

Bolling told NJ.com in June: “When the lights go down on my TV career, the next step is running for Senate.”

Bolling tweeted on August 7: “Overwhelmed by all the support I have received. Thank you. I look forward to clearing my name asap.”
