In his new book, Dick Cheney brags about forcing Secretary of State Colin Powell out of the Bush administration, mocks Condi rice for trying to seek a nuclear treaty with North Korea and proclaimes his support for illegal water boarding, which is defined by the United Nations as “torture.”
Appearing on MSNBC’s The Last Word, progressive columnist Glenn Greenwald recalled Cheney’s various crimes, from torture to illegal wiretapping on American citizens. Greenwald added that Obama refused to enforce the law and continued the “evisceration of the rule of law for political elites.”
